After a recap of the previous night's performances, Andrew Lloyd Webber sat down with Ryan in the middle of the stage, and talked about the Idols.
Time for the Ford Commercial! The Idols sang a rockified, punkish version of Tainted Love. Business time now - Ryan called both David Archuleta and David Cook to the center of the stage. Recap of how they did the night before, what the judges said, blah,blah, blah... Ryan asked Cook why he sang his song straight. "What would be more unexpected than me singing a song straight? So I went for it", explained David Cook. After a bit more chit-chat, Ryan pronounced both of them SAFE!!!!!!!!!
After a little segment on some past idols who are playing on Broadway (Diana DeGarmo, Fantasia BarrinoTamyra Gray, Lakisha Jones, Clay Aiken), Simon's protege, Leona Lewis, took the stage and sing her hit "Bleeding Love", and I can care less.
Ryan asked Syesha and Brooke to come to center stage. Watch has Ryan announced who of the two was safe and who was in the B2.
Brooke is safe, Syesha is in the Bottom 2.
Jason and Carly are then asked to join Ryan at center stage. You sang blah, blah, blah, Simon liked it, blah, blah, blah. Turned out Carly is in the Bottom 2, Jason is safe. Carly performed Jesus Christ Superstar once again. Syesha performed One Rock & Roll Too Many one more time.
Carly goes home. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
